From the documents which you have been good enough
to enclose with your letter, we observe that one of the most
important parts of the proposed works of the second instalment
may involve the construction of a high masonry dan,
and upon
the feasibility of constructing this we would not care to
express any definite view without having ourselves inspected
the site.

If therefore, we were called upon to undertake the
duties set out in Paragraph 4 of your letter, we should regard
a visit to the Colony as an essential preliminary before detail
drawings could be prepared, and in the course of this visit
